This website is operated by Love Joe (ABN: 31 257 912 923). Please ensure you read these Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) carefully before using our website, or purchasing any items from Love Joe. The FAQ and Privacy Policy on this website also forms part of these Terms of Conditions.
By using our website and/or purchasing any items from us you are engaging in our services, and therefore agreeing to be bound by these ‘Terms’ and the associated FAQ. If you do not agree with any of these Terms please terminate use of our website.
Information on this website is for general use only. Love Joe is not responsible if any information on this website is not accurate, complete or current.
We may cancel all or part of an order prior to it’s dispatch if
If there is an error in the price, product description, or delivery fee;
If your order weight exceeds our maximum postal delivery weight (in which case we will contact you to make alternative arrangements or amend shipping fees, where possible) or if the selected postage price does not match the applicable price for delivery to your nominated address;
Your order breaches any of our Terms.
All orders are final sale and non-refundable. Orders may not be cancelled once submitted to Love Joe. If there is an error in your delivery address or contact details that you would like to correct, please contact us prior to the order being dispatched and we will attempt to assist you.
If your order arrives and there is considerable damage to its contents, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible. Any claim received more than 3 business days from delivery may not be processed. You may also need to lodge a claim with the relevant courier service.
Love Joe reserves the right to refuse any order you place with us. Any orders placed are fulfilled at sole discretion, and we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. In the event that we make a change to an order, or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by e-mail and/or contact number provided at checkout.
Purchase and Sale of Alcohol:
All alcoholic beverages offered for sale by Love Joe are, under no circumstances available to persons under the age of 18.
By purchasing any alcohol or items that contain alcohol from Love Joe, you agree that both yourself and the person receiving the item/s are over the age of 18. Please note it is an offence to supply to a person under the age of 18 years, and an offence a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor from another person.
Under the Victorian Legislation, gifts that contain alcoholic beverages and consumables can only be received by a person who is over 18 years of age. Upon delivery of any Love Joe items, the recipient may be required to provide a valid identification for proof of age, and sign for the goods.
Liquor Licence Exemption - Florists and Gift Services
For the purposes of the exemption, a florist or gift maker business is one where the primary purpose is to sell flowers, food or other products that are packaged as, or intended to be, gifts.
As a small business Love Joe is not required to have a Liquor License when supplying liquor under the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation Act 2011. There are strict conditions regarding these exemptions, and to be eligible the following conditions apply:
liquor must be packaged together with flowers, food or other gifts
the volume of liquor supplied to a person must not exceed 1.5 litres per day
the value of the liquor and its container must not be more than 50 per cent of the gift's sale price
liquor supplied needs to be purchased by the proprietor on a retail basis
both the purchaser and recipient of the flowers or gift must be 18 years or over.
